My name is Jim Green and I own and manage Green Environmental. I am originally from the UK and so is the truck. When you ring up it's me normally you speak to. When we come and clean your septic tank, it's me that comes to your house. If you are reading this, yes you have got it, it's me writing this. No one else to blame!!!

I have been working with sucker trucks for 15 Years, I worked with them in the UK before moving here to New Zealand. Yes there are septic tanks in the UK, we also did a lot of tanker work in heavy industry such as coal mining, power stations, sewage works and quarries to name a few.

A lot of the work we do is not only cleaning septic tanks, unblocking pipes from the house, sorting out drainage field problems. We also try to help people understand THEIR septic tank. There are things like do not put grease, wet wipes, nappies, coffee grinds and keys down the toilet/sink. They will block and cause you problems. THEY WILL COST YOU MONEY!!!! We never did find the keys.

To find out more, we are going to publish articles of what we have done and the things we have found over the years, some funny some not so funny, like the people that built the garage over the septic tank. We had to dig up the floor, then they moaned because we charged them more.

We only charge to pump out a septic tank.

Not to dig up the floor of the garage or half the garden when the owner has built it up. Move the wood pile, dig up the drive, pull up the slabs, block paving. To remove trees, if the roots have gone into the septic tank and we have to get in to remove them, we will tell you how to cut them up and remove them, but if you want us to do this, it will cost you extra. And if you have built the retaining wall or the extention to the house over the septic tank, please don't blame us.

Again we only charge to pump out the septic tank.

The grumpy dog in the back window, is Murdoch, he had his picture in the sideswipe book and the fame has gone to his head, we do not take him out anymore, we now take out Becky, she nice and is not at all grumpy.
